I had put off dental work for nearly a decade of how much dental anxiety I have, but everyone at Lakeside has been so fantastic and accommodating. My teeth look fantastic and are so much healthier, and it’s motivated me to be better about my dental health all around.
My husband and I travel full time and we were in the area when I had an issue with a tooth so I called and Lakeside Dental got me in right away. Unfortunately, I needed a crown but they had their financial person come in and gave us some options that made the financial blow a bit easier to take. They were able to get all the prep done the same day and scheduled me to come in a couple weeks later but called immediately when the crown came in and offered to see me right away. We weren’t in town but they still got me in right away when we got back.I have not had a great experience before with any dentist but these guys take their time, are gentle and are focused on excellent care.100% recommend the team here at Lakeside! In fact, I referred my mother-in-law here to get her crown done here bc they did such a great job on mine and, before leaving today, I added my husband and myself to their calendar for our regular cleanings. Happy to find a new dentist in an area where we know we’ll be passing through often.Thank you, Lakeside staff for the excellent care!! We’ve had a really great experience with Dr. Cheema and the entire team. Our whole family goes here, and it’s been especially nice finding a dentist who is so welcoming and kid-friendly. Our kids feel comfortable going to the dentist, which honestly makes a big difference.I also go here for my regular cleanings, and the experience has been great. The staff is friendly, flexible, and easy to work with, and the office has a very comfortable atmosphere.Dr. Cheema is very knowledgeable, takes the time to explain things, and genuinely cares about his patients. It’s great to have a dental office that works well for both kids and adults. We’re very happy to have found this place and would definitely recommend Dr. Cheema to other families.
My son was a patient of Dr Cheema at previous office. My son, who is autistic, needs a root canal, and the office referred him to a different office for sedation surgery with an 8 to 12 month wait. We discovered that Lakeside Dental can perform the sedation surgery needed. The visit was great and plans for the procedure were discussed. We have a date in a couple of weeks as opposed to the 8 to 12 months.
Great experience there. Very friendly and just a nice professional group there. They are very willing to listen and help. I can’t say enough good things! This is how you’d want to be treated at a medical facility.
I needed an implant, and I never had one before, and I was scared, but they made me feel so confident that I was gonna feel no pain, and it wasn’t anything like if you had a tooth pulled. They were absolutely right, I didn’t feel a thing, and the next day I had no pain whatsoever. So far, I could consider them the best dentist that I ever had in my whole life, and I’ve been to a lot of dentists before and these people are so nice, so gentle and so caring, and they do a great job. I’m so glad that I found them.

6/25/26 update: Had another wonderful experience with Lakeside dental! Dr. Simran, with assistance from Teja did some much needed restorative work on my front tooth & gave me beautiful composite veneers to ensure my smile was wedding ready & glowing! I am SO happy with the results. I was nervous at first but so many staff members at lakeside reassured & supported me through the whole process!Under new ownership & everyone was so helpful and communicative! I had a wisdom tooth removed and it was so quick and easy. Very happy with my experience!
I had a great experience and truly appreciated how friendly and accommodating everyone was. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what was being done. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work due to previous dentists, and they were incredibly patient and considerate of that throughout my visit. They constantly checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and okay with everything before moving forward. I also really appreciated that they never made me feel embarrassed or judged about the condition of my teeth or gums. Overall, they made what is normally a stressful experience for me feel comfortable and positive, and I would highly recommend them. Will be having my wife switch to this place as well.

All the people in the front office are very helpful and kind. The dental assistants, hygienist and dentist were all both gentle and personable. And the office atmosphere was calm, modern and clean.

I just moved over to Lakeside Dental since moving to Folsom full time. I really enjoyed the ease of switching from my for Sonoma County dentist to Lakeside Dental. I liked the each of the staff members I interacted with amd their professionalism. I felt like I received a thorough cleaning amd great recommendations.
I had a Gr8 experience at Lakeside dental. From what was an embarrassing moment of a front tooth crown falling off, and almost panicking not knowing what office to choose with my insurance network, to walking out of Lakeside dental with peace of mind that I didn't need to hide under a mask any longer,especially during this 4th of July weekend. The staff at Lakeside dental greeted me with kindness,answering any questions I had. They felt warm and genuine. From being nervous of my appearance, to internet issues with my phone , the staff helped to set up a care plan to assist financially for my care. Going to a new office is stressful enough because, you don't know the type of service you are getting and you don't know the staff. I felt reassured that I was in good hands and I left out of Lakeside dental all smiles.

This was such a stress free and FAST experience! I had to change Dentists because of insurance and was very unhappy that I had to do so, but I found this Dentist in my neighborhood and what a blessing that I did!! Usually going to the dentist feels very stressful and like I’m going to a hospital. This experience was the least stressful, from the people at the front that helped me, to the dental assistant JZ that was so kind and friendly, and the hygienist Jade who was real with me and answered all my questions! Dr. Cheema was incredibly friendly as well and his bedside manner was the best that I have ever experienced and it took him less than 5 minutes to do a filling! Blown away by this experience because I felt like I was a part of the family. Actually excited for my cleaning in 6 months!
Dr. Harpreet Cheema is an extremely professional, knowledgeable, and caring dentist. My 17-year-old son was recommended by other doctors for an implant, but Dr. Cheema took the time to explain that his jawbone has not fully developed yet and that an implant would not benefit him at this stage. Instead, he suggested alternative options that would be better for my son.What impressed me most was that he genuinely put my son’s health and best interests first rather than trying to push a procedure or make a profit. It is very reassuring to have a doctor who truly cares about his patients.I highly recommend Dr. Harpreet Cheema to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and compassionate dentist!

My dentist stayed with me the entire time of my root canal. Her assistant was very caring and anticipated my needs before I even knew I had any needs. The work that was preformed was amazing. This place really pays close attention to details. I highly recommend Lakeside Dental.
This was absolutely the best dental visit I have ever had. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The dentist was also friendly and funny with a great smile to boot. They are linked to Delta dental which is nice. The music was upbeat and fun and the green glasses turned everything pink I liked that experience it was humorous. The office was clean and I literally would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Lakeside dental for giving me my first absolutely pleasant experience at a dental office.
