Discover the Confidence of a New Smile with Modern Dentures

Modern dentures restore more than just missing teeth — they restore confidence, comfort, and the joy of everyday moments. Today’s dentures look natural, feel secure, and function beautifully. At Lakeside Dental, expert care and personalized options ensure tailored solutions for replacing missing teeth. Our dentures fit your lifestyle and bring your smile back to life!

Types of Dentures

There are three main denture options that we offer at Lakeside Dental.

Conventional Dentures

Conventional dentures replace a full arch of missing teeth after gums heal from any necessary extractions. These custom dentures rest on the gums, providing a natural appearance and improved chewing ability.

The conventional denture process begins with a consultation and appointment that includes measurements and a mold of your mouth to create your custom dentures. After you receive your custom dentures, our team makes any adjustments necessary to give you a personalized fit. With proper care, conventional dentures last 5-7 years or more without significant modifications.

Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures provide same-day replacement following tooth extraction. These temporary dentures snap onto healing gums and allow our patients to leave the office with a full set of teeth. These snap-on dentures help you maintain your appearance, protect your gum tissue, support normal speaking and chewing, and provide a good template for creating your final dentures.

While allowing time (a few months) for your gums to stabilize, your final, custom dentures are created. Once the time is right, your immediate dentures are replaced with a final set of custom dentures to ensure a precise, long-term fit.

Implant Supported Dentures

Implant supported dentures offer the most secure, stable option for dentures while preserving the jawbone structure and improving chewing strength. The process begins with installing dental implants at strategic places in your jaw to anchor your custom denture in place, eliminating any slippage or discomfort from loose dentures.

  • For the lower arch 2-4 implants are placed in the front portion of the lower jaw.
  • For the upper arch 4-6 implants are placed across the arch for the best denture fit.

Following implant placement, a healing period of 3-6 months is recommended before the attachment of a custom denture. The time is worth it! With proper care, your implant dentures improve your quality of life for 10-20+ years!

Which Denture Option Fits You?

Choosing the right denture depends on lifestyle, oral health, and personal preference. Conventional dentures work well for patients seeking a simple, removable solution. Immediate dentures serve those who want to maintain their appearance through the denture process.  Implant supported dentures suit individuals who want maximum stability and long-term oral health benefits.

I have an interesting background regarding my teeth. I won't bore anyone with the details but I was without good care for a very very long time. My second dental visit of my life was only a short year ago. (at another location) and this dentist was very mean to me. They criticized my brushing habits and the fact that I hadn't been to a dentist, even after my explanation of why. and then continued to treat me poorly just because they thought I had terrible hygiene. (I brush everyday like I am supposed to) When I came to see Dr. Rocky after my 4 months of torture he was very much the opposite. He sat next to me and let me explain all the hell I'd been through and was truly concerned with how turned off I was. He took one look inside my mouth and found something my other dentist didn't. Fixed it immediately, and almost called the other location just to yell at him for the awful job he did. He said they didn't do a thorough cleaning and said that one of the fillings they gave me was now infected due to the fact that they didn't sterilize before filling it and now I needed a root canal. YAY ME. Well none of this was Dr. Rocky's fault and I commend him for being so honest and quick with his work. He has been so thorough in everything he's done and never failed to explain everything. Always there to let me ask any questions. I have now seen him and his brother, who did my root canal, he's a specialist and they didn't want to take any chances. Not to mention I have brought my entire family here. They see his wife Dr. Cathy who is also wonderful. Please just come talk to them. You will not regret it.

They're very friendly and professional. I didn't get up sold, which I appreciated very much. I'm definitely going back and highly recommend them!
